Family Day Out: Things To Do in Essex This Weekend – 2nd/3rd September

Things to do in Essex outdoor shoes flip flops

Well, it’s that time of the week where I round up my favourites from the huge range of things to do in Essex this weekend.  With the weather traditionally holding out for another month or so, there is still a great range of outdoor family events on offer.

I’m personally not quite ready to let summer fade into the distance. I’m one of those people who hang onto every last ounce of the warm weather and will still be wearing flip flops into October.  With a jumper and scarf on, if I need to!   Then I can switch full on into Christmas attire (yep I’m also one of those people who mention Christmas months beforehand!).

So enjoy the last of my weekly instalments below. Next week, to coincide with the move into Autumn, I’ll be moving to a monthly roundup.  This will cover the month ahead and indoor activity options too!

Remember to let me know if you  do try any of my suggested things to do in Essex this weekend.  I hope you enjoy.
