So if you’re thinking about hiring one of our beach huts in Walton-on-the-Naze, you might be wondering where you’re actually going to park?

So first things first, if you’re booking in the summer, it’s gonna be busy! I definitely recommend getting down here early.

You want to make the most of your beach hut day, but actually, you just want to have a stress-free morning and not waste time finding somewhere to park. The roads can be busy and the parking on the streets can be busy, so it’s definitely worthwhile packing everything up the night before and getting in the car as early as you can.

When you get to Walton-on-the-Naze, you’ll find two pay and display car parks.

There’s one on Church Road and one next to the Station Yard Car Park. Both of those, at the very most, are about a 10 to  15-minute walk (to our beach hut that’s farthest away from those car parks).

However, there are streets around the huts, particularly on the back roads in alignment with the promenade. So if you’re booking Harley, which is one of our farthest away from the pier, you might wanna think about parking on Woodbury Way which is right behind the hut and then it’s only a couple of minutes walk down the steps for you.

So arrive early as possible, but there is lots of options for parking. But if it’s a hot summer weekend day, just get down as quickly as you can, and be prepared to take a few minutes just getting a space to park.
